Module MIRS01

Missing Information Requests

Cut the missing information requests that slow a file: why MIRs happen, how to pre-empt them, and how to clear the ones that land.

Every MIR is a delay, and most are avoidable. This session covers the different types of missing information request, why they occur, and the practices that stop them before submission. It also covers how to deal quickly with the MIRs that do come back, so a file keeps moving.

What you will be able to do

  • Recognise the common types of missing information request
  • Prepare a file to pre-empt avoidable MIRs
  • Respond quickly to the MIRs that do land

Format

  • One live session of two hours, on Zoom, camera on
  • A small group, so there is room for real questions on real files
